Hello! We're the sisters behind da-Mira

We're Melda Auditia & Mira Alissa — two sisters who grew up surrounded by yarn, fabric, and our mum's bag-making table. What began as a lockdown hobby grew into da-Mira, our cosy little home for stitching.

With a background in fashion and textile design and years of making bags, it all went into this book, everything we love about crochet. Hope you love this book as much as we do!

The book is in English, using US crochet terms throughout, with a full glossary so the terms are easy to follow.
Is this book suitable for complete beginners?+
Not quite complete beginners. Master chain, slip stitch and double crochet first, and the rest of this book flows easily from there, with video tutorials on our Support Hub for the more complex techniques. Just scan the QR code on the pattern pages.

How and when do I get the free mini bag charm pattern?+
Every pre-order comes with our exclusive mini bag charm pattern for free! A printed pattern is included with your book when it ships. It's only available during pre-order, so once that window closes, it's gone for good.
Why am I charged now instead of when it ships?+
Pre-orders are paid in full at checkout to reserve your copy and your free bonus pattern, ahead of launch. It locks everything in so your book, and the charm pattern tucked inside, are guaranteed when the first edition arrives.
What payment methods can I use?+
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB, Diners Club, and Discover), PayPal, Apple Pay, and manual bank transfer at checkout. If you pay by manual bank transfer, please make sure any transfer fees are covered by the sender.
Can I cancel my pre-order?+
Yes. Because this is a pre-order, you can cancel any time before your book ships and receive a full refund. Just email us at sales@da-mira.com or send a DM on Instagram @da___mira and we'll sort it out. Once your book is on its way, the order can no longer be cancelled.
SHIPPING
When will my book ship?+
All pre-orders begin shipping on 12 November 2026, the day the book officially publishes. You'll receive a tracking number by email as soon as yours is on its way. Delivery times vary by country, so please see our shipping FAQ for estimates.
Do you ship internationally?+
Yes! We ship worldwide from Japan. You can check whether your country is eligible, along with estimated rates, directly at checkout. Based in Indonesia? Order from our local store at da-mira.id for domestic shipping and local payment options.
How much is shipping?+
Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your delivery address. Any customs duties or import taxes are set by your country and are the customer's responsibility.
ORDERS & RETURNS
Do I need an account, or can I check out as a guest?+
You can check out as a guest, no account needed. Creating an account is quick though, and it means a faster checkout next time plus first dibs on future da-Mira releases.
What's your refund policy?+
Because every book is reserved especially for you, pre-orders can be cancelled for a full refund any time before your book ships. Once it's on its way, the order becomes non-refundable. If your book arrives damaged or faulty, contact us within 5 days of delivery at sales@da-mira.com with an unboxing video and your order details, and we'll always make it right.
